How to use Facebook to promote your Business?

We are not saying that people are done and dusted with conventional ways of marketing, but let’s face the truth, digital marketing is all over the marketing space and it doesn’t seem to lose its lustre any soon. A big credit for this also goes to mobile app development companies that have created some great apps compatible with digital marketing tools. According to AdWeek, businesses gain 7 times as much as they spend on digital market campaigning, which is quite a fair deal. And when it comes to effectiveness, a report from Deloitte states that conversion through Facebook are 129% higher as compared to other means of marketing.

Paid Method / Paid Promotion

Going with the assumption that you are open to paid promotions for your business, let’s begin with Facebook Ads. Facebook Ads, in the past few years, have proved their mettle as one of the most effective ways of directly or indirectly boosting your sales. The platform uses Artificial Intelligence algorithms to auto-detect fake ads to keep the ad space intact from unwanted entities, which is a major reason why people trust Facebook as an advertising tool. You can also create Facebook Ads on-the-go, as the mobile app development team at Facebook chose to configure this feature for the Facebook Ad Manager app as well. To create an ad, you can use Facebook Ads tool located on the drop down list in the top-right corner.

As you select Facebook Ads, you see a detailed form that you have to fill in order to feed Facebook ad tools with your requirements. There are three main sections here: Awareness, Consideration, and Conversion. Because our priority is building mass reach for our business, select ‘Reach’ in the Awareness section. Assuming that you are at the basic level and trying to promote a website here, go for ‘Traffic’ under ‘Consideration’ section, and then go for ‘Conversions’ in third and last section. In the next steps, you pay Facebook for featuring your ad, and from there, you wait for the results. Google Ads and Facebook Ads are comparable when it comes to serving the purpose, but then Facebook has an edge in bringing quality leads, also called as Organic followers.

Assuming that you are a little economical about your funds, free or unpaid promotional techniques could also work just about fine for you. However, the effort required to promote your page through free tools could be a little tricky because the unpaid promotional space is usually bursting off seams due to a high number of competitors using the same tools. And also because you are not a privileged advertiser.

In case of free promotional techniques, the first and foremost goal of digital marketer should be to collect a legitimate number of followers. Once you achieve that goal, your business-related posts spread like a fire, provided they do reflect the potential. So, instilling your posts with a sense of catchiness, and most importantly, an attractive and informative banner is imperative in determining how deep your post penetrates the social media space.

Posting on Groups

The user base of Facebook is so big that you will always find groups and communities on each and every topic that the world talks about. Your goal is to find such groups and share your Facebook posts on them with the admin’s permission. While creating a post, don’t forget to mention your page address in the description.

An important thing to be noted here is that in order to achieve mass reach, you need to join groups with a large number of followers to let more and more people notice your post. To get maximum number of likes and follow ups, you banner shall be catchy and intriguing. By intriguing, we mean that it should not spill the beans in the banner itself.

Like Exchange Groups

This is by far the most effective and direct way of increasing your number of followers on Facebook. Like Exchange Groups have recently caught attention, and can easily get a huge number of followers to your page in no time, though you will have to dedicate a lot of time into this technique. And also, the type of followers you get from here are generally inorganic, but still, the big follower count could give your page a nice outlook, compelling others to check out your page.

In this technique, all you have to do is join Like Exchange groups that usually have a very large number of followers, and write a post on the group’s wall appealing people to like your page, in response to which you will return the favour by doing the same i.e liking their page.

Once you get a huge number of followers using either of these two techniques, you will start attracting more number of followers, including organic.
